WHO ARE THEY?
Share The Dignity are an Australian charity working to provide free sanitary and period products to women and teenagers in need.
Over 100,000 Australian women and teenagers have to make the tough call of making ends meet financially or buying themselves these products and at BLAEK Store we believe that is a decision no person should have to make!
Over 100,000 Australian women go without sanitary and period products each year in Australia due to financial hardship.
Australian women spend an average of almost $20 per month or close to $10,000 between the ages of 12-53 on period products.
|1/10 Australian women cannot afford period products and a further 1/7 struggle to afford them.
HOW BLAEK STORE PARTNERS WITH SHARE THE DIGNITY
We back this concept because of the simple fact that no-one should have to go without essential product due to financial hardship and we're happy to be able to provide a helping hand for a better future for Australian women and teenagers.
Here's how you can help:
If you live close by to our store in Manly, NSW simply turn up between 9am-1pm any Wednesday for the month of August to donate your period products. Just make sure they are new and in a sealed package.
DONATE VIA POST
If it's not easy for you to make it in store to make your donation simply post your donation to us to the following address:
Share The Dignity Donation
210 Pittwater Road
You're welcome to send us a DM @blaek.store as we have plenty of other options such as buying products on your behalf.
SHARE THE DIGNITY DO THE REST
At the end of the month a Share The Dignity volunteer drops in and picks up our accumulated donations which are distributed directly to 100,000 Australian women in need!
