FABRIC:

100% Viscose

Lightweight and breathable, this fabric features a textured surface while remaining soft to the touch and is well suited to trans-seasonal wear. It is a sheer fabric with a lovely hand feel and nice, fluid movement.

ELK are working with not-for-profit organisation Canopy to ensure that all their forest-based fabrics are responsibly sourced from sustainable forestry and preference those with a green shirt ranking according to the most current Canopy Style Hot Button Report. Their partnership with Canopy includes a commitment to ensure all of their viscose products have not been sourced from ancient and endangered forests.

Their traceability systems confirm the viscose fibres in this garment are from green shirt rated producers.

The fibres used in this blend are renewable and biodegradable.

MAKE:

This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with ELK since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel.

Jimmy is actively working with ELK to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe and compliant. The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits.

FIT:

The Gira Sheer Shirt has a relaxed fit through the upper body, going wider at the hem opening, and features a dropped shoulder. The key fit points are the bust and length.
