Hi Tom here jumping on to let you know about some fresh stock that has just (like last day or two) landed in store from our mates at Nudie Jeans Co. . It looks amazing and I wanted to throw down some of my ideas about a few key pieces I am loving.
Following on from Nikki's blog post on womens new arrivals strap yourself in as I give my two cents on what I am loving so far from the first of the new season men's stock from Nudie Jeans Co.
The colour oat has been going mad this Autumn. We received stock of the Roger Slub Tee in oat and it sold out in one weekend never to be seen again. Sorry for everyone asking but it is totally sold out Australia-wide. Now we have just received stock of the Chuck Fluid Twill shirt in Oat and it is incredible and WILL fly out the door like the tee. One of my favourite shirts we have ever stocked. It also comes in classic navy which I guess is slightly more 'formal'?
I love it because the fit is perfect and you can wear it during the day but also just get away with wearing it out for dinner or for a drink especially if you run it with black jeans like my go to Lean Dean Everblacks.
It's made out of Tencel (derived from wood pulp and very sustainable) which is quite a new material for NJCO and it is so incredibly soft on your skin and falls really nicely on the body. Nudie have been dabbling in the tencel world for a few seasons but are really committing to it moving forward especially in their shirts. You can really feel it in this one and it makes for a very lux feel while maintaining it's hard-wearing ability to stand the test of time.

UNO NJCO CIRCLE TEE - VIOLET / LEAN DEAN - DRY 16 DIPS
Anyone who knows me knows I don't reallllly wear that much colour. My favourite colour is black and I hardly ever wear anything aside from black and a little bit of khaki or oat as I said above. True fact though my favourite colour is actually pale pink and I like any bright colours that are dulled down with a little bit of a pastel or aged look.
This tee has got me because of how good it looks with the Lean Dean Dry 16-dips and I would never have put it on if not for this photoshoot but it is going to be added to my wardrobe for sure. The colour that we're calling 'violet' is semi-washed so it is dulled down enough to not be a strong purple which is a tick from me and it's a really unique and soft colour.
This outfit is great for during the day, going out for lunch or hanging around in bare feet. It's a solid look but softer and more mellow than the black jeans and black tee look I like to run at night time.
