What is Terracycle and why do we love them? 
Terracycle is a company who recycle common items that are not commercially recyclable. Any business can register to become a drop point for certain items, invite people to drop off the items and then that business sends the waste to TerraCycle. 

TerraCycle weigh the waste and depending on the weight add credits to the businesses profile which adds up to real money which is automatically donated to a chosen charity who in BLAEK store's case is Take 3 For The Sea.

What are the negatives here?
There simply aren't any and we think that every business in Australia should be taking part in this program which costs nothing but a few hours of admin and results in money donated to charity.

What does BLAEK Store accept for recycling?
At BLAEK Store we accept certain dental hygiene and bathroom product waste. You are welcome to drop off any of the following items for recycling and along with the money it will generate which is automatically donated to Take 3 For The Sea we'll give you credit to use in store!

Accepted waste: Toothpaste tubes and caps, toothbrushes, toothbrush and toothpaste tube outer packaging, floss containers.

Please note: Electronic toothbrushes and electronic toothbrush parts are not recyclable through this program.

How does the store credit work?
1 piece of waste = $0.40 TerraCycle dollars
$10 TerraCycle dollars = $10 BLAEK Store Dollars
