Treeline - the Secret Life of Trees

It's no secret at all that I LOVE TREES! I spend a lot of my life trail running, weaving in and out of any trees I can find. When I look at trees they make me happy but they also make me think.

Without trees we have no oxygen. We all know that but do we all know that we're cutting down around 10 million hectares globally (or enough trees to fill VIC) every single year? What about that deforestation contributes over 4.8 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere annually? Also don't forget that leading banks financed $119 billion to companies linked to deforestation in the last 5 years!

These are all huge problems and huge negatives. So where are the positives?
