OUR STORY

BLAEK Store was born from the mind of two people who want to encourage & educate people to buy more consciously. Of course we want to save the planet. We want to build a better future for future generations. But to do that we all need to pitch in and do our bit. We also want to look and feel awesome in what we wear, what we have in our homes and what we put on our skin. So our solution to this - opening BLAEK Store.

First opening as a retail store in Freshwater, NSW in October 2018 and moving to Manly in April 2019, we knew people from all over Australia (and the world) want the ease of browsing in their own sweet time and so our online store was born.

Our key business principal involves one thing - everything we sell has to be sustainable, ethically made and organic. To save the world one t-shirt at a time, we are not in the business of promoting fast fashion. Instead we want to provide beautiful men's and women's organic clothing, that lasts for ages, not two wears. We wanted to introduce our customers to non-toxic, natural beauty products that will enhance their skin and feel wonderful. We wanted to support small Australian designers who work really hard to ensure their clothes are made ethically and sustainably. We want to promote circular fashion, partnering with the likes of Upparel to recycle your unwanted clothing items. We wanted to be a space to bring your jeans or clothing in for free repairs for life. We wanted to provide an outlet to recycle your used dental and other items, and to buy new, natural, plastic free ones. You can see where this is going... 

In a nutshell, BLAEK Store is the place to go for dresses, beanies, bags, shoes, shirts, laundry detergent, candles, moisturiser, dental floss and much more. By buying from us, you are shopping more consciously and anyone who loves living on planet Earth applauds that so THANK YOU!
